Underoath are turning Define the Great Line into a full anniversary run. The band will take the 2006 album across North America this fall, with the newly announced tour opening November 5 at The Pageant in St. Louis and closing December 18 with a hometown-area show at Tampa's Yuengling Center.
The bill is built like a mid-2000s post-hardcore time capsule. August Burns Red and Atreyu are attached to the run, while As Cities Burn and Emery appear on select dates. Blabbermouth's announcement notes that Citi presale access began June 9 at noon ET, with artist and additional presales following ahead of the general on-sale Friday, June 12 at 10 a.m. local time.
Keyboardist Chris Dudley framed the album as more than a nostalgia object, saying, "What this album has meant to us, and so many others, over the past 20 years is hard to quantify. It gave us permission to be ourselves. It sent us around the world. It gave people the freedom to say (and scream) the things out loud they had buried deep. It will outlive us."
That framing fits the record's place in heavy music. Define the Great Line landed in 2006, after They're Only Chasing Safety pushed Underoath into a much larger conversation, and it hardened the band's language without sanding off the melodic lift. For a generation of scene kids, it was the point where arena-sized catharsis and serrated chaos stopped feeling like opposing ideas.
The fall tour also extends a busy Underoath year. The band is already on the Van Tour to Vans Warped Tour, a smaller-room run leading into Warped appearances, and Knotfest lists additional 2026 festival stops including Louder Than Life, Four Chord Music Festival, Furnace Festival, Aftershock, and Sick New World.
The routing keeps the anniversary frame focused instead of turning it into a loose festival afterparty. It is a proper headlining cycle for one record, with the support acts functioning as scene context rather than random package-tour padding.
Anniversary tours can feel like a victory lap, but this one has a little more voltage behind it. Define the Great Line still sounds like a band arguing with the ceiling, and Underoath are giving it the big-room treatment with a lineup that understands exactly where those fault lines came from.
