Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy are teaming up for a co-headlining U.S. run this fall. Pitchfork reports that Lindsey Jordan and Sophie Allison will take the 19-date S&M Tour across U.S. theaters starting September 30 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

It is a neatly matched bill: two artists who came up as indie-rock diarists, got tagged with bedroom-pop shorthand, and then kept stretching their records into louder, cleaner, more fully band-sized worlds. Snail Mail is touring behind Ricochet, which Pitchfork and Consequence both note arrived in March, while Soccer Mommy's most recent full-length is 2024's Evergreen.

Brennan Wedl opens the first half of the run, and Scarlet Rae takes over support for the second half, according to Pitchfork. Consequence says artist presales begin Thursday, June 4 at 10 a.m. local time, with general onsale following Friday, June 5 at 10 a.m. local time.

The routing leans East Coast, Midwest, and South rather than doing the usual coast-to-coast victory lap, which makes the pairing feel less like a festival-font gimmick and more like a smart room-sized bill. If you came up on Lush and Clean in the same playlist era, this is one of the fall indie tours to circle.
